Job summary

Boots Opticians in Wilmslow is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead and inspire the team, delivering an exemplary customer journey across the store, including clinical activities such as patient pre-screening, dispensing checks, and service excellence.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver the commercial plan, manage rotas, conduct performance reviews, and help colleagues develop their skills and careers. All training and leadership programs support your growth.

Qualifications

• GOC registration is required.
• Experience in a customer facing role is essential.
• Demonstrated desire to learn and develop professionally.
• Experience leading or coaching a team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a store team to deliver an exemplary customer journey.
• Manage rotas and perform performance management tasks.
• Contribute to clinical activities including patient pre-screening and dispensing.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver the commercial plan.
