Job summary

Deckers Brands, home of UGG, seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Ashford location. You will partner with the Store Manager to develop the team, deliver outstanding customer service, and uphold brand standards. You’ll handle training, operations, inventory, and scheduling while ensuring budgeted goals and community engagement.

You will lead with brand values, motivate your team, and adapt to busy periods while maintaining store performance and exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a people manager in a Retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey the UGG and Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to your team and customers
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate, people, resources, and services in order to address business goals and needs
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work through challenges.
• Ability to be agile to meet the needs of the business, especially during our busiest time of the year.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to develop and coach team members, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate brand values.
• Aid in day-to-day operations including training, inventory management, and store administration.
• Open and close the store, secure assets, plan and prepare labor schedules, and respond to store needs in the manager's absence.
• Support in implementing store strategies to drive revenue, traffic, and profitability.
