Job summary

Welcome Break is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead a busy retail/hospitality unit, delivering exceptional customer service and a warm welcome. You will support the Store Manager across service, safety, people and commercial performance, coaching the team on shift and preparing the unit for peak periods.

This full‑time role offers a rewarding salary up to £29,000 with a bonus scheme and a £10 meal allowance every shift, plus career development and staff discounts. 18+ required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager in a busy retail, hospitality, or customer service environment.
• Able to deliver great customer service and welcoming experiences.
• Able to lead from the front—motivating, coaching, and developing others on shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on shift and coach others to perform at their best.
• Support the Store Manager in service, safety, people, and commercial performance.
• Help manage stock and routines, ensuring the unit is clean, well-organised and ready for rush periods.
• Maintain high standards and ensure a great customer experience.
