Job summary

Welcome Break is seeking an Assistant Manager for one of our busy sites in Milton Keynes. You will help lead the team on shift, maintain high standards and ensure every customer receives a warm welcome and great experience.

You will support the Store Manager across service, safety, people, and commercial performance, coaching staff, managing stock, and keeping the unit clean and well-organised. A clear path to Store Manager is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager in busy retail, hospitality, or customer service environments.
• Delivery of great customer service and welcoming experience.
• Ability to motivate, coach and develop others on shift.
• Ability to juggle priorities and stay organised in a busy environment.
• Understanding the importance of standards, compliance, and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on shift and support the Store Manager across service, safety, people and commercial performance.
• Coach and develop staff, manage stock and routines, ensure cleanliness and readiness for rush periods.
• Provide hands-on leadership with training and progression toward Store Manager role.

Ready to take the next step in your leadership career in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment? As an Resturant Assistant Manager inat Welcome Break, you’ll help lead the team day to day, keep standards high, and make sure every customer gets a warm welcome and a great experience.

You’ll support the Store Manager in Resturant across service, safety, people, and commercial performance, coaching the team on shift, helping to manage stock and routines, and making sure the unit is clean, well‑organised, and ready for every rush. It’s a hands‑on role with real responsibility, and we’ll give you the training and support to grow into a Store Manager role.
