Job summary

Seasalt in Malvern is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Store Management team. The role covers supporting the Store Manager, driving service standards and store profitability, and leading a diverse team to meet KPI targets.

You’ll be pivotal in coaching staff, implementing visual merchandising, and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a 40-hour, permanent position focused on developing your retail career with Seasalt.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team at supervisor level or above in retail.
• Strong KPI achievement and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership to motivate the store team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in creating a customer-centric service culture.
• Show the team how to upsell and use omni-channel selling to drive sales.
• Support recruitment and build a diverse, passionate team.
• Be a role model to drive store sales, profitability and KPI achievement.
• Coach and develop staff through regular 1:1s and development plans.
• Communicate performance and risks to the team and stakeholders.
• Implement store visuals, merchandising and product information to maximise opportunities.
• Manage stock, loss prevention, safety, and store operations.
• Act as key-holder and run the store when required.
