Job summary

Vans is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Bicester Village location to support the Store Manager in driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will mentor the team, manage daily store operations, and help implement retail processes while upholding brand standards.

You will lead by example, open and close the store, and contribute to a high-performance, customer-centric environment with weekend and holiday flexibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience opening and closing a store and leading a team.
• Ability to mentor and develop store staff.
• Flexible with weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability in synergy with the Store Manager.
• Motivate, mentor and coach sales associates.
• Assist in implementing and improving retail processes.
• Monitor inventory, P&L and KPIs to improve store results.
• Maintain brand-aligned visual merchandising and store appearance.
• Provide cover in the store manager's absence.
• Interact with customers and lead by example with a hands-on approach.
• Open and close the store and lead from the front to boost sales.
