Job summary

JD Sports Fashion is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching staff, and delivering the premium JD experience. You will lead daily operations, uphold JD standards, and motivate the team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates will have retail management or supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a focus on customer service and commercial results.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Ability to interpret KPI and sales data to guide decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to drive sales targets and KPI achievement.
• Lead and coach shop-floor colleagues, assigning tasks and maintaining JD standards.
• Provide real-time feedback and development for team members.
• Ensure presentation, pricing accuracy, stock, and safety standards are upheld.
• Handle cash, till checks, deliveries, stock audits, and opening/closing routines.
