Tapi Carpets & Floors Limited is seeking a motivated individual to support the Store Manager in running the store. You will lead by example, train the team, and drive sales while ensuring outstanding customer service and a top-notch store appearance.

You’ll manage daily store operations, deputise for the Store Manager, and use store systems to process orders accurately. A proactive, customer‑focused approach and a passion for retail will help you excel in this role.

Responsibilities

• Work with store team to wow customers at every turn
• Deputise for Store Manager across all store operations
• Assist in management of store including sales targets and team motivation
• Support and train the team to succeed and deliver the Tapi difference
• Support Store Manager to induct new Tapi colleagues
• Drive sales to meet and exceed personal targets
• Deliver outstanding service to all customers – surpassing expectations
• Assist Store Manager with appearance of store and promotional changes
• Handle customer complaints in difficult situations
• Ensure customers’ expectations are exceeded to encourage repeat business
• Look for ways to improve for customers, colleagues and the wider Tapi business
• Use Tapi technology to input order details accurately and to a high standard
• Comply with Health, Safety and Security requirements
