Job summary

Tapi Carpets & Floors Limited in Livingston is seeking a proactive Store Administrator/Sales Advisor who loves delivering great customer experiences. You will be at the heart of daily store operations, supporting colleagues and ensuring orders, stock and cash handling run smoothly.

With a strong eye for detail, you’ll greet customers, process orders, liaise with suppliers and estimators, and keep diaries for home consultants and fitting partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confident, conscientious and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Controlling all administrative activities across the store.
• Work together with your store team to “wow” our customers at every turn.
• Support Store colleagues to meet and greet customers as they enter the store.
• Provide top notch customer service, helping customers with their order completions, as well as post-sales questions and (very rarely!) escalating the odd complaint.
• Keeping orders on track, regularly liaising with suppliers, fitters, and estimators.
• Oversee the diaries of our Home Consultants, Estimators and Fitting partners.
• Maintain control of company cash and daily banking.
• Liaising with customers to keep them updated on their order (with a bit of Tapi charm thrown in!).
• Undertake stock takes and audits on a weekly basis.
• Always be on the lookout for new ways to improve our store, our service, and better serve our customers.
