Job summary

Vivienne Westwood is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Manchester store location on a full-time, fixed term basis. You will lead a premium sales team and ensure an exceptional customer experience, upholding the brand’s heritage and standards in-store.

You’ll drive performance, coach staff, manage stock and cash, and collaborate with the Retail Area Manager to hit budgets while representing our culture of creativity and activism.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a premium or luxury retail setting.
• Experience managing, developing and motivating a sales team.
• Strong communication skills and customer experience focus.
• Proactive and adaptable with a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate awareness of the business within brand KPIs.
• Provide regular feedback to Retail Area Manager on store performance.
• Achieve store budget and optimize sell-out within the budget.
• Manage cash and credit card handling and banking per guidelines.
• Ensure deliveries and movements follow stock management guidelines.
• Maintain store image, cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
• Lead by example and coach staff to improve performance.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

About The Role

Vivienne Westwood is currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at our Manchester store location. This is a full-time, fixed term basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong awareness of the business within the framework of defined brand objectives and KPIs
• Handle issues in a timely manner according to company policies and operational proceduresProvide regular feedback to the Retail Area Manager regarding store performance and other store operative issues
• Achieve store budget and optimize sell-out within the budget provided
• Manage all cash and credit card handling and banking procedures according to company guidelines
• Ensure that product deliveries and movements are processed according to company stock management guidelines
• Be responsible for the good image of the store, always ensuring it is clean and well maintained according to the company visual merchandising standards
• Lead by example, acting as a role model for the team
• Coach and train the staff to improve the business performance
• Any other ad hoc tasks required

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a retail environment, ideally within a premium or luxury setting
• Experience managing, developing and motivating a sales team
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with a focus on driving results
