Job summary

Clarks is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United Kingdom to support the Store Manager in guiding the retail team and daily operations. The role blends leadership, customer service, and operational management in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has prior retail leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team, with flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable in driving KPI’s and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
