What you’ll be doing:
- Working with the Store Manager, sharing responsibility for the store's daily operations.
- Leading by example and co-managing a small team of 4-6 staff members.
- Working up to 45 hours per week; all extra time worked is paid or can be taken as time off in lieu.
- Motivating your team to deliver excellent customer experiences and achieve sales targets.
- Building rapport with customers by offering honest advice, exceeding expectations, and reassuring them when faced with many options.
What you’ll need - skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a retail customer service or sales environment.
- Supervisory or junior management experience, ideally in a retail or field sales environment involving hard goods.
- Practical knowledge of our product range.
- Ability to sell our products effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in achieving sales targets.
- Confident, enthusiastic team player.
- Skills including accuracy, numeracy, and basic computer literacy.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Desire to succeed both individually and as part of the team.
