Job summary

Pertemps London is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a Croydon store on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support the Store Manager, drive sales and occupancy, and uphold excellent customer service. You may assume full site responsibility when the Store Manager is absent.

The role requires strong sales ability, customer focus, and supervisory experience. You will work five days out of seven on a rota, with a quarterly sales bonus on top of a £28,980 annual base salary.

Duties include handling enquiries, converting them into bookings, promoting storage solutions and related services, maintaining presentation standards and supervising colleagues. When the Store Manager is absent, the Assistant Store Manager assumes full responsibility for site operations. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help drive sales, maximise occupancy, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure the smooth day-to‑day running of the store. In the Store Manager's absence, you will take responsibility for the operation of the site.,
