About the Role

There's a role for everyone in retail - including leadership. As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll motivate your team to deliver high standards, maximize availability, and drive sales. You'll maintain shop floor standards, coach your team, and ensure operational standards are met, including merchandising and back-of-house areas. You may need to multitask across store areas and sometimes oversee the entire store independently. This role offers an opportunity to develop in retail.

As part of the leadership team, you'll work a three-week rolling rota, including weekends, evenings, and late nights. Occasionally, you may be solely responsible for the store, requiring confident oversight of store operations.

You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable, friendly, and proactive. You should be enthusiastic, a strong coach, mentor, and motivator, and a positive role model to colleagues, ensuring excellent customer experiences.
