Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Cambridge, United Kingdom location to work closely with the Store Manager and lead the team to deliver strong results while ensuring smooth store operations.

You will drive KPI performance, coach the team, manage stock and administrative tasks, and uphold exceptional customer service and brand standards. Flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays is required; benefits include employee discount and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Track record of working to and driving KPIs and sales targets.
• Experience managing store operations, stock, and administrative processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire others.
• Hands-on, commercially minded approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in delivering sales, KPIs and profit opportunities.
• Drive daily and weekly performance through clear targets, floor leadership and commercial focus.
• Monitor KPIs and team performance, run reports and support action plans to improve results.
• Take ownership of store operations including stock management, payroll, rotas and administrative tasks.
• Lead, coach and develop the team through training and feedback.
• Act as a role model on the shop floor by delivering exceptional customer service and living our brand values.
• Ensure high standards of visual merchandising, brand presentation and store standards at all times.
• Take full responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the commercial success of the store. Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help lead the team, deliver strong results, and ensure store operations run smoothly - stepping up to take full responsibility when required.

• Supporting the Store Manager in delivering sales, KPIs, and profit opportunities
• Driving daily and weekly performance through clear targets, floor leadership, and commercial focus

• Taking ownership of store operations including stock management, payroll, rotas, and administrative tasks
• Leading, coaching, and developing the team through training, feedback, and strong product knowledge
• Acting as a role model on the shop floor by delivering exceptional customer service and living our brand values
• Ensuring high standards of visual merchandising, brand presentation, and store standards at all times
• Taking full responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence
