About The Role

What you'll be doing:

1. Working with the Store Manager, you'll share joint responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store.
2. Leading by example, co-managing a small team of 4-6 staff members.
3. Motivating your team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
4. Building rapport with customers through honest advice, exceeding expectations, and reassuring them amidst a wide range of choices.
5. Working up to 45 hours per week; all extra time worked is paid or can be taken as time off in lieu.

What you'll need - skills and experience:

1. Proven experience in retail customer service or sales environments.
2. Supervisory or junior management experience in retail or field sales, preferably in a hard goods environment.
3. Practical knowledge of some or all of our product range.
4. Ability to sell products effectively.
5. Excellent customer service skills.
6. Experience in achieving sales targets.
7. Confident, enthusiastic team player.
8. Skills including accuracy, numeracy, and basic computer literacy.
9. Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
10. Desire to succeed both individually and as a team co-leader.
