Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is recruiting an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a nationwide principal contractor on a c.£15 million traditional-build care home project. You will support the Site Manager, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress and safety, and help drive the works from groundworks to handover.

You should have a solid construction background with traditional-build experience, ideally in residential or care home schemes.

Qualifications

• Solid construction background with experience on traditional-build projects.
• Experience overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle from groundworks to handover.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager and Contracts Manager with day-to-day running of the project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
• Monitor quality, progress and health & safety on site.
• Assist with programme management and short-term planning.
• Work closely with commercial and design teams.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site presentation.
