Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is recruiting an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a nationwide principal contractor on a c.£15 million traditional-build care home project. You will support the Site Manager, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress and safety, and help drive the works from groundworks to handover.

You should have a solid construction background with traditional-build experience, ideally in residential or care home schemes.

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a nationwide Principal Contractor on a prestigious c.£15 million traditional-build care home project.

This is an excellent opportunity for an all-rounder Assistant Site Manager who is confident working across the full range of site management responsibilities and has a strong understanding of traditional construction methods and structures from start to finish.

The Role

• Supporting the Site Manager and Contracts Manager with the day-to-day running of the project
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities
• Monitoring quality, progress and health & safety
• Assisting with programme management and short-term planning
• Working closely with the commercial and design teams
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site presentation
