Job summary

Berkeley Group is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a Slough development. You will support the Senior Site Team, coordinating internal works from second fix through to handover on Horlicks Quarter. Strong communication and a collaborative approach are essential to maintain programme and site safety.

Experience in residential construction, managing complex packages, and overseeing trades is required. The role drives quality, customer satisfaction and adheres to Berkeley standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction or property development.
• Experience managing packages or blocks on fast-paced developments.
• Hands-on oversight of internal works from second fix to handover.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate site teams.
• Well-organised with ability to manage competing priorities and programme pressures.
• Collaborative approach across technical, health & safety, commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver internal works from second fix to completion and handover.
• Work with Senior Site Team, consultants and subcontractors to maintain programme.
• Monitor progress of second fix activities and escalate risks to minimise delays.
• Maintain regular updates with Senior Site Team on progress and issues.
• Foster relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders for a collaborative site.
• Promote Berkeley values and drive Health & Safety on site.
• Ensure works meet statutory requirements and Berkeley standards.
• Maintain digital quality records using Fieldview EDMS.
• Support high customer satisfaction and IHR scores.
