Job summary

Berkeley Group is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for One Waterside in Bath to deliver internal works from second fix through to handover. You will ensure quality finishes align with Berkeley standards and manage trades to maintain programme.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in residential construction or property development.
• Experience managing packages, phases or blocks on fast-paced developments.
• Experience overseeing internal works from second fix through to completion and handover.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate site teams.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and delivery of internal works from second fix to completion and handover, ensuring efficient sequencing of trades.
• Work with Senior Site Team, consultants and subcontractors to maintain programme and resolve on-site challenges.
• Monitor progress of second fix activities and escalate risks to minimise delays.
• Maintain clear communication with the Senior Site Team with regular progress updates.
• Build strong working relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders to support a productive site environment.
• Promote Berkeley values and a positive professional culture on site.
• Drive a strong Health & Safety culture and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
• Ensure works meet statutory requirements and Berkeley standards.
• Monitor quality of finishes and promptly resolve defects.
• Maintain digital quality records using Fieldview EDMS.
• Support high customer satisfaction and strong IHR scores.
