Job summary

ITS Construction Professionals is recruiting an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a residential housebuilding project in Hereford. You will support the Site Manager, coordinate subcontractors, and monitor build quality and safety to ensure milestones are met on time.

The role requires previous experience in new-build residential construction, strong health & safety knowledge, CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Site Manager in residential housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of new-build residential construction.
• CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and driving licence required.

We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager with previous experience working on new-build residential developments who is looking for their next opportunity with an established housebuilder.

The Role

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Monitoring build quality and progress
• Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with the programme
• Assisting with site inductions and toolbox talks
• Monitoring health & safety across the development
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider site team
• Ensuring plots are progressing to programme and specification
• Supporting the Site Manager through to completion and handover

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding
• Strong knowledge of new-build residential construction
• Experience managing subcontractors and tradesGood understanding of health & safety and quality standards
