Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a Nottingham, NG17 project. This temporary role involves managing a 2-5 bed NHBC-spec housing development, with emphasis on health & safety, quality, and customer care.

The ideal candidate is well-organised and capable of running a fast-paced, tidy site. You will lead the site team, oversee trades and site operations, and ensure programmes are achieved while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an Assistant Manager on new build housing sites.
• Proven experience running/assisting sites for recognised UK house-builders.
• Up-to-date SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to quality standards including management of defects and programme targets.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and manage trades, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Lead on health and safety compliance, inductions, risk assessments, and permits.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external inspectors and stakeholders.
• Maintain site facilities, welfare, and progress reporting.
