Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is assisting a well-established Main Contractor in recruiting an Assistant Site Manager / Resident Liaison Officer for planned social housing refurbishments in the Bolton/Oldham/Manchester area. You will report to a Site Manager and oversee site operations, health and safety culture, client and resident liaison, and materials management.

This dual-role position requires proven delivery of social housing refurbishment schemes and a stable career history; salary is £36k plus

• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets.
• Demonstrate a stable and progressive career history.

Responsibilities

• The smooth operational running of the site, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Liaising with residents and ensuring they are kept updated with the construction process
• Ordering materials

The company specialise in Social Housing refurbishments across Greater Manchester, working within tenanted properties with the aim to improve the condition of homes across the region. The company work across internal refurbishments, external refurbishments, fire safety upgrades and energy efficiency upgrades.

They are looking for an Assistant Site Manager / Resident Liaison Officer (this is a dual role) to join their team.

This is working on a planned refurbishment scheme either in the Oldham, Bolton or Manchester region.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Main Contractor who have a healthy pipeline of work and operate on a number of schemes.

You will be reporting into a Site Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational running of the site, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.

• Liaising with the client
• Liaising with residents and ensuring they are kept updated with the construction process

Experience needed:

SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Social Housing Refurbishment schemes.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is £36k (depending on experience) plus 4k car allowance and other benefits.
