Job summary

Bayne's the Family Bakers is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in Oakley. This 39-hour-per-week position offers £13.58 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Shifts include mornings and weekends with a flexible roster.

You will support the shop manager, supervise staff, ensure food hygiene and safety, and maintain high service levels in a fast-paced bakery environment. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience in a supervisory role, ideally within the food to go industry.
• Confident and enthusiastic.
• Experience delivering on KPI's and profitability.
• Experience managing stock.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent excellent customer service within your shop.
• Assist the shop manager with all operational standards.
• Assist the shop manager in accurate scheduling (colleague rotas) of the shop.
• Assist all new colleagues ensuring that they are fully supported with their induction and training.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, legal diligence and health and safety, within your shop.
• Maintain excellent standards within the shop.
• Ensure compliance with company cash and security processes.
• Ensure the quality of our products is maintained throughout the day.
• Encourage the development of your team.
• Managing colleagues in a fast paced, customer service environment.
• Remaining hands-on serving, bake off, making filled rolls, hot drinks etc.

Assistant Shop Manager - 16 Wardlaw Way, Oakley, KY12 9QH

39 hours per week (although additional hours may be available).

£13.58 per hour plus an excellent benefits package (see below).

As our Assistant Shop Manager you will be given various shifts - which will change week to week and will include weekends (when rostered on) between 4:30 am and 4:30 pm - any 5 days from 7. Please only apply if you can commit to this.
