Job summary

Bayne’s the Family Bakers in Fintry, Dundee, is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager. You will work across shifts, including weekends, to support the shop manager with daily operations, customer service and staff supervision.

The role requires previous retail supervisory experience; you will help with rosters, training new staff, ensuring food hygiene and safety standards, and maintaining product quality.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience in a supervisory role, particularly within the food to go industry would be ideal.
• Confident and enthusiastic
• Experience of delivering on KPI`s and profitability.
• Experience of managing stock.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent excellent customer service within your shop.
• Assist the shop manager with all operational standards.
• Assist the shop manager in accurate scheduling (colleague rotas) of the shop.
• Assist all new colleagues ensuring that they are fully supported with their induction and training.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, legal diligence and health and safety, within your shop.
• Maintain excellent standards within the shop.
• Ensure compliance with company cash and security processes.
• Ensure the quality of our products is maintained throughout the day.
• Encourage the development of your team.
• Managing colleagues in a fast paced, customer service environment.
• Remaining “hands-on” serving, bake off, making filled rolls, hot drinks etc.

Retail Assistant Shop Manager - Fintry, Dundee, DD4 9EZ

35 hours per week (although additional hours may be available).

As our Assistant Shop Manager you will be given various shifts - which will change week to week and will include weekends (when rostered on) between 530am and 5pm - any 5 days from 7. Please only apply if you can commit to this.

To be considered for this role you should have previous supervisory or management experience.
