Job summary

Bayne’s the Family Bakers in Alloa is hiring a Senior Sales Assistant to work 30 hours per week at £13.30 per hour. You will support the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager, run the shop in their absence and promote our values while providing moments of joy to customers.

You’ll handle displays, customer queries, and cash handling, with shifts including weekends and early mornings. Generous discounts and career progression await.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a food retail environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and people skills to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Open, honest and approachable nature with confidentiality.
• Flexible to work various shifts across shop opening hours.
• Basic computer and numeracy skills required.

Senior Sales Assistant - 3 High Street, Alloa, FK10 1JF

Purpose

To work alongside the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager as part of the management team. Running the shop in their absence whilst promoting the company values. Giving moments of joy to our customers.

YOU will be given various shifts - which will change week to week and will include weekends (when rostered on),between 4:45am and 4:45pm - any 5days from 7.

30 hours per week(although additional hours may be available).

£13.30 per hourplus an excellent benefits package (see below).

• Prepare and serve customers with our award winning range of bakery products.
• Set up and maintain counter and window displays.
• Resolving customer queries and complaints.

• Key holder with responsibility for opening and closing the shop.

• Holding return to work meetings and documented discussions.
• Managing cash in line with company guidelines.
• Computer related tasks, such as data entry and recording figures.
