Job Opportunity: Assistant Shop Manager

Sense is currently recruiting for an Assistant Shop Manager to work 30 hours per week at our shop in Aberystwyth on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our network of over 120 shops as part of our ongoing growth programme. We are seeking a motivated individual to lead and inspire a team, ensure operational and customer service excellence, and maximize income for the charity.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Building, training, and inspiring a team of volunteers
2. Maintaining high shop standards, engaging customers, and offering excellent service
3. Driving stock generation and community engagement

Our shops play a pivotal role in raising awareness and income, helping us support people with complex disabilities.

Essential skills and experience:

• Self-motivated, creative, excellent communicator, and committed to charity retail
• Experience in inspiring a team and delivering outstanding customer service
• Attention to detail to ensure a safe, clean, and inviting environment
• Experience in retail or team leadership roles

This role requires working on Bank Holidays and weekends as needed.
