Serco is seeking an Assistant Shift Leader at RAF Fylingdales, North Yorkshire. You will help deliver the continuous operation and maintenance of the SSPAR radar 24/7, monitor the Building Management System and fire alarm systems, and support HV/LV electrical work.
You will lead a skilled shift team, coordinate Safe Systems of Work, maintain records, and stand in for the Shift Leader as required, contributing to national defence and reliable service delivery.

Schedule: An 8 week shift pattern with regular days off. Working days (08:00-20:00) and nights (20:00-08:00), with days off in between and averaging 42hr week. After every 8 week cycle you have a 14-18 leave period then resume 8 week cycle with days off in between shifts.
As an Assistant Shift Leader, you'll help deliver the continuous operation and maintenance of the Solid State Phased Array Radar (SSPAR), supporting a critical capability that operates 24/7. Your work will help ensure uninterrupted radar availability while maintaining the safe and efficient operation of essential SSPAR equipment and infrastructure.
