Job summary

Fulwell Golf Club is seeking an Assistant Secretary – Golf to join the management team and take ownership of the club’s day-to-day operation, delivering an outstanding experience for members, guests, societies and visitors.

This broad role blends golf operations, member engagement, technology and leadership, with opportunities to contribute to governance, commercial activity and sustainable club development.

Qualifications

• Ambitious, personable, commercially minded and passionate about golf.
• Experience within a members’ golf club environment suggested.
• Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the Club’s golfing calendar, including competitions, matches, opens and societies.
• Providing a visible, approachable and high-quality service to members.
• Developing member engagement, participation and retention initiatives.
• Building relationships with societies and visiting parties.
• Championing golf technology and systems, including ClubV1, BRS and Golf Genius.
• Identifying opportunities to improve the golf operation and member experience.
• Supporting commercial, sponsorship and revenue-generating opportunities.
• Managing relevant budgets and revenue streams.
• Supporting digital communications and social media.
• Contributing to compliance, governance and Board reporting.
• Deputising for the Club Secretary when required.
