Renault Watford is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to lead and develop the sales team in delivering new and used vehicle targets. You will coach staff, manage performance, and ensure compliance across finance, insurance and add-ons while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The role requires a proven track record in automotive retail sales, strong finance product knowledge, and excellent coaching abilities. A full UK driving license is essential. 5-day week with Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Experience in franchised automotive dealerships or similar high-volume sales environments.
• Strong track record in coaching sales teams to improve engagement and conversions.
• Solid understanding of finance and insurance products and compliant selling.

Responsabilités

• Support the General Sales Manager in delivering vehicle sales targets and profitability.
• Coach and develop the Sales Team to maximise engagement and conversions.
• Monitor performance, forecasts, stock turnover and sales pipeline activity.
• Structure deals and assist with complex transactions.
• Present and oversee finance, insurance and add-on products.
• Collaborate with finance providers to secure funding solutions for customers.
• Assist with stock management, pricing strategy and appraisals.
• Ensure leads, appointments and follow-ups are handled effectively.
• Maintain high standards of compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Lead sales operations in the General Sales Manager's absence.
