Job description

Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager

Location: Maidenhead

Brand: Romans

Salary: up to £40,000 OTE

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:45am to 6pm, Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays 9am to 1pm

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate for the position of Assistant Sales Manager will be highly motivated, career-driven, and experienced in the current sales market.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Growing the volume of new sales business and income for the branch.
  2. Appraising and instructing residential sales properties.
  3. Identifying potential business opportunities and referring them to the appropriate division.
  4. Ensuring high-quality customer care.
  5. Meeting and exceeding targets for lettings business.
  6. Registering, qualifying, and managing applicants.
  7. Arranging and conducting viewings to secure property lets.
  8. Working in accordance with all legal obligations.
  9. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available properties.
  10. Implementing effective canvassing and marketing strategies.
  11. Developing the core business in the branch.
  12. Assisting with team management.

Skills required:

  1. Previous experience in a senior sales role with a proven track record in securing new business.
  2. Listing and valuation experience.
  3. Excellent sales skills.
  4. High-level customer service skills.
  5. Good telephone manner and positive attitude.
  6. Negotiation ability.
  7. Tenacity and self-motivation to succeed.
  8. Ability to build and nurture trusted relationships at all levels.
  9. Responsiveness to change.
