Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate for the position of Assistant Sales Manager will be extremely motivated and career-driven with experience in the current sales market.

Duties will include:

  1. Grow volume of new sales business and income production to the branch.
  2. Appraisal and instruction of residential sales properties.
  3. Identify other potential business opportunities and ensure referral to the appropriate division.
  4. Accountable quality of customer care.
  5. Meet and exceed targets for lettings business.
  6. Register, qualify and manage applicants.
  7. Arrange and conduct viewing appointments and secure property lets.
  8. Work in accordance with all legal obligations without exception.
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available properties.
  10. Implement effective canvassing and marketing strategies.
  11. Develop the core business in the branch.
  12. Assist with the management of the team.

Skills required:

  1. Previous experience within a Senior Sales position, with a proven track record in securing new business.
  2. Excellent sales ability.
  3. High level of customer service skills.
  4. Good telephone manner and positive attitude.
  5. The ability to negotiate.
  6. Tenacity and be a self-starter with the drive to succeed.
  7. Ability to build and nurture trusted relationships at all levels.
  8. Be responsive to change.
