Job summary

Bield Housing and Care is seeking an Assistant RHWM in Thornhill Court, Falkirk. The role involves maintaining cleanliness of internal communal areas, assisting with dining room setup, heating and delivering meals, and supporting tenants with routine tasks.

You may also help clean vacant flats and external pathways, respond to emergencies, and cover the development office as needed. This on-site, permanent position is paid pro rata for part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; full training provided.
• Interest in working with older people and responding calmly to requests.
• REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure internal communal areas are clean and meet tenant/visitor standards.
• Prepare dining room, heat meals and deliver to tenants.
• Assist with cleaning vacant flats and external pathways where needed.
• Provide general and emergency assistance to tenants; respond to property emergencies.
• Take cover for the development office when required.
