Mint People is recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Ambleside, Lake District. This role offers a £32,000 yearly salary plus £3,000-£4,000 in tips, with full-time permanent status and live-in accommodation available.

You will lead front-of-house operations, support the management team, and uphold exceptional service standards in a Michelin-starred environment, with a focus on staff development, guest experience, and smooth service flow.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in a supervisory or management role in a quality restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading floor operations and being the face of the restaurant during service.
• Maintaining and improving service standards with great attention to detail.
• Supporting and motivating the front-of-house team.
• Managing daily service flow and guest experience.
• Organising staffing and schedules.
• Pre-service menu and dietary checks.
• Overseeing restaurant cleanliness and compliance with standards.
• Handling cash-up and reporting duties.
