Mint People is seeking an exceptional Head Chef for a privately owned 5-star holiday estate in the Lake District, Cumbria. The role demands lead-from-the-front kitchen leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume setting, with a focus on fresh, seasonal, commercially strong and memorable food offerings.

The operation includes bar, restaurant, events, outdoor catering, leisure facilities and café services, catering up to 500 covers during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front, drive standards across the kitchen and build a positive culture based on teamwork, consistency and professionalism
• Shape a fresh, seasonal menu and ensure high-quality presentations and service
• Manage high-volume operations across multiple outlets, with peaks up to 500 covers per day
• Develop and lead a brigade, organise and motivate the kitchen staff
