Job summary

Dalhousie Castle is seeking an energetic Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead daily dining operations, inspire the team and deliver memorable guest experiences in our main hotel restaurant that champions Scottish produce and sustainable seafood.

You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and kitchen team, coach and develop staff, manage rosters and stock, and continuously seek ways to improve service, guest satisfaction and teamwork in a unique hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality restaurant or hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service and hospitality.
• Ability to lead service and support daily operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivate, coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the restaurant ensuring smooth service.
• Lead from the floor, setting warm, attentive hospitality standards.
• Develop, coach and motivate the restaurant team.
• Ensure excellent communication with kitchen for seamless dining.
• Assist with rotas, stock control and ordering.
• Identify opportunities to improve service and guest offering.
• Work with wider F&B team to deliver a consistent experience.
