Job summary

Silverstone is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations at the Escapade Gallery - Restaurant Bar, delivering high-quality service and a standout guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead team training, supervise service, upsell, monitor costs and standards, and liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences while maintaining health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager to create and implement a best in-class and award-winning guest experience.
• Build strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and preferences are remembered for future visits.
• Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere to create a positive guest experience.
• Coordinate daily restaurant management operations and consistently manage all bar and restaurant systems.
• Support the team to control all costs across the department and maximise efficiency against KPI’s.
• Provide ongoing training to ensure the team are knowledgeable about food and beverage offerings/menu items, and customer service best practices.
• Ensure food and drinks are prepared and presented according to established standards and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant area to meet health and safety regulations.
• Monitor the overall ambience of the restaurant to ensure it aligns with the establishment's branding and atmosphere.
• Enhance revenue generation through upselling, cross-selling and achieving add-on sales.
• Handle unexpected situations and challenges that may arise during a guest's visit and offer suitable solutions.
• Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experiences

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will play an important role in supporting the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, drive revenue and maintain high standards. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will have the ability to build relationships with guests and understand how to deliver quality service whilst working in a fast-paced environment with a positive and engaging attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service
