Job summary

Malmaison Leeds is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead our brasserie and events spaces. The role offers £31,500 per year plus Tronc, with a 45-hour week and permanent, full-time status.

You will report to the F&B manager, ensuring celebrity-service standards, managing duty shifts, and driving guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel setting. Weekend flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Have experience of working within a fast-paced F&B operation.
• Experience running functions, meetings, private dining and drinks receptions.
• Strong restaurant experience. Bar knowledge desirable.
• Some wine knowledge desirable.
• Experience in hotel F&B operations desirable.
• Understanding of catering costs, GP and labour control.
• Experience in rotaing.
• Able to motivate and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to our F&B manager and drive excellent service standards within our brasserie and events spaces.
• Be responsible for completing duty manager shifts within the hotel.
• Weekend work and flexibility essential.
