The Ivy Asia in Glasgow is seeking an ambitious Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead on the floor during busy service, ensure smooth operations, and uphold our renowned service standards.

You will guide a team, deliver friendly, professional guest experiences, and drive food safety and quality practices while showcasing charisma and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory restaurant role
• Excellent English communication and presentation
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Confident and professional guest-facing manner

Responsibilities

• Lead floor operations during service in a fast-paced setting
• Ensure service standards and smooth flow of guests
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional guest experiences
• Manage staff with regular feedback and appraisals

Key elements of your role as Assistant Restaurant Manager:

• Show confidence in managing floor operations in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• To ensure the efficient flow of service is met during service periods whilst adhering to our service standards.
• To provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times
• To manage all employees in line with the agreed skills and standards, giving regular feedback and appraisals.
• Adhere to and uphold all food safety and quality regulations.

• You have 2 year + of experience in this position

• You have excellent English language skills
