Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established regional contractor on major residential schemes in York. The role is office and site based with hybrid working after probation, offering stability and clear progression.

You will assist with valuations, cost control and subcontractor packages, working closely with Site and Contracts teams. A driving licence and housing/background in main contractor work are preferred.

Qualifications

• Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyor with some site experience.
• Main contractor housing background preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with valuations, cost control and subcontractor packages.
• Provide day-to-day commercial support on site.
• Collaborate with Site and Contracts teams to support live schemes.
• Support structure, training and progression through the role.
