Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor in Kent. You will support the commercial management of a major, long-term project, working with a senior QS and Commercial Manager on payment applications, cost reporting and change management.

The role offers exposure to a complex infrastructure programme and development within a busy commercial team. Candidates should have a relevant qualification and some civil/infra experience, with

Qualifications

• Experience working within a contracting/commercial environment.
• A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
• Some experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, construction or a related sector
• Good understanding of commercial processes; Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to learn and progress within a commercial team

Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation of applications for payment

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor working on a major, long-term project in Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant QS looking to develop their commercial career while working alongside an experienced commercial team on a complex infrastructure programme.

The Role

Working closely with the Senior QS and Commercial Manager, you will support the commercial management and delivery of the project.
