Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our London-based commercial team, supporting the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You will assist with valuations, cost reporting, procurement and change management, coordinating with Project Managers and the wider team to ensure accurate cost control and successful project outcomes.

Candidates should have experience as AQS in civil engineering or construction and a relevant commercial

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an AQS / Assistant QS within civil engineering or construction.
• Good understanding of commercial and project costs.
• Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant commercial qualification or degree desirable.

A leading specialist contractor is looking to bring an Assistant Quantity Surveyor into their commercial team, supporting the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across London.

The Role

• Support the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Assist with valuations, applications for payment and cost reporting
• Subcontract procurement and management
• Support change management and variations
• Assist with CVRs, forecasting and cost control
• Work closely with Project Managers and the wider commercial team

About You
