Job summary

Walker & Sloan Ltd (Certified B Corp) in West London are recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship hyperscale data centre development in Hayes. You will support procurement, cost reporting, valuations and subcontractor payments alongside a seasoned commercial team.

This role offers exposure across the full commercial lifecycle, with opportunities to own packages and develop commercial judgement while mentoring from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Some construction/project experience with a commercial focus.
• Currently in an Assistant or Junior Quantity Surveyor role.
• Exposure to procurement, subcontractor administration, measurement or cost reporting.
• Ambitious to develop commercial judgement and manage own packages.

Responsibilities

• Support the full commercial lifecycle from procurement to final accounts.
• Assist with cost reporting, valuations and subcontractor payments.
• Take ownership of work packages and contribute to commercial forecasting.
• Develop commercial judgement and progressively manage packages.
