Job summary

Walker & Sloan are recruiting an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship data centre project in Hayes, West London. You will support commercial delivery on a 18 data halls hyperscale development, working with Senior QS and Commercial Manager.

The role offers £40,000 - £47,000 plus a strong benefits package, car allowance where applicable, pension, healthcare, EV scheme, cycle to work and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or project environments.
• Exposure to procurement, subcontractor administration, measurement or cost reporting.
• Commercial awareness and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of financial and contractual aspects of a major project.
• Work with senior QS and project team across procurement, payments, variations and forecasting.
• Take ownership of allocated packages as experience grows.
