Job summary

WSP in London is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our PMCM Buildings team. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support cost management across education, commercial, hospitality, residential and public sector projects in the Southeast.

You'll develop your technical skills in estimating, cost planning, procurement and reporting while gaining exposure to NEC/JCT contracts and CostX/CEMAR tools.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified, or working towards a Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management qualification.
• Experience in a QS or cost management environment (internship, placement or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel.
