Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its PMCM Buildings team in London. You will support pre- and post-contract cost and commercial management across a diverse portfolio, working with experienced QS, Cost Managers and Project Managers.

You will develop skills in cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, valuations and reporting, while contributing to landmark building projects and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or working towards a Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management qualification.
• Experience in a QS or Cost Management environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excel proficiency and IT literacy.
