Job summary

L&Q Living is seeking an Assistant Project Quantity Surveyor to support cost control and contractual administration in our Stratford, London operations. The role works closely with Quantity Surveyors to ensure value for money and accurate forecasting within a hybrid working model.

You will measure subcontractor accounts, manage contractor performance, and contribute to cost-saving strategies across projects, reporting to Senior Quantity Surveyors in the Commercial Team.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical ability and data interrogation skills.
• Experience managing principal and subcontractor arrangements and relationships.
• Excellent understanding of contract law and commercial awareness.
• Competent in standard methods of measurement and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Own project financials and ensure contractual entitlements.
• Lead cost control and value-for-money initiatives across workstreams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet programme targets.
• Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting to senior QS.
