Job summary

Bimplus seeks an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Norfolk team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will work on heritage restoration, sustainable construction and bespoke building projects across East Anglia, supporting cost management from pre-construction to final account and developing commercially sound solutions.

You will assist with valuations, variations and subcontractor payments, while helping procurement and maintaining commercial records.

Qualifications

Experience in a QS or Assistant QS role.
Experience in construction, refurbishment or specialist projects.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proactive and organised approach to work.
Qualifications in QS or Construction Management or working towards them.

Responsibilities

Assist with project cost management from pre-construction through final account.
Prepare and review valuations, variations and subcontractor payments.
Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
Assist with contract administration and maintain commercial records.
Collaborate with site teams, clients and supply chain partners.
Contribute to project reporting and financial forecasting.
