Job summary

The Lovell is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Peterborough team on a permanent basis. You will support the commercial delivery of refurbishment and planned maintenance projects, helping manage cost control, remeasurement, valuations and accounts.

We value accuracy and collaboration, with growth through guidance from senior QS staff and involvement in progress meetings with clients and supply chain partners.

Qualifications

• Must be organized, numerate and commercially aware.
• Strong attention to detail with good communication skills.
• Understanding of measurement, valuation, cost control or contract administration beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support project cost control and remeasurement of works.
• Prepare valuations and interim/final accounts.
• Administer subcontractor accounts and manage cash.
• Maintain accurate contract records and progress meetings.
• Collaborate with clients, design teams and suppliers.
