Job summary

The Lovell in Peterborough is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of refurbishment and maintenance projects. You will assist with cost control, remeasurement of works, valuations and final accounts, and help admin subcontractor accounts to maintain cash flow and accurate records.

As you gain experience, you will contribute to progress meetings, liaise with clients, design teams, and supply chain partners, and produce precise, timely commercial documentation

Qualifications

• You’ll be organised, numerate and commercially aware.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• Understanding of measurement, valuation and cost control is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control, remeasurement and valuations.
• Support final accounts and subcontractor administration.
• Maintain accurate contract records and promote strong supplier relationships.
